Demo of the Scrum board, its Backlog, Sprints and workflows
A Scrum board in Jira is a tool used to visualize and manage the work of a Scrum team. It provides a way to track project progress, manage tasks, and facilitate team collaboration through a visual representation of the workflow.
Sprints:
Sprints are fixed-length iterations (commonly 2 to 4 weeks) during which a team works to complete a set amount of work from the backlog.
The Sprint board displays the current sprint’s progress.

Columns:
The board is typically divided into columns that represent different stages of work (e.g., To Do, In Progress, Done).
You can customize these columns based on your team's workflow.
Issues/Cards:
Each task or user story is represented by a card on the board.
Cards can contain information such as summary, descriptions, assignees, status etc.
How to create start a sprint
A sprint is a time-boxed period during which a Scrum team works to complete a specific set of prioritized work items from the product backlog. The goal of a sprint is to create a potentially shippable product increment, meaning that the team aims to deliver a usable piece of the product at the end of the sprint.

Completed Issues (In Done Column)
Issues that are marked as "Done" are considered complete.
These issues will remain in the "Done" column of the board after the sprint ends and are included in the sprint report. They signify work that has been completed successfully during the sprint.
In Progress Issues
Issues that are still "In Progress" at the time the sprint is ended need to be addressed.
Typically, these issues will either:
Return to the Backlog: They are moved back to the backlog for consideration in the next sprint or future planning.
Be Assigned to the Next Sprint: If appropriate, you may choose to assign them to the next sprint directly during the completion of the current sprint.
How to create a swilmane
Swimlanes in Jira are a visual organizational tool used on Scrum and Kanban boards that help teams better manage and visualize different kinds of work items. They divide the board into horizontal sections, allowing for a clearer overview of issues grouped by specific criteria
