A Kanban board in Jira is a visual project management tool that helps teams manage their workflow efficiently. It is primarily used for tracking tasks and progress in a project using the Kanban methodology.
How to transition issue, add coment and change fields
It is possible to change issue status by simply drag and drop it to another coulumn, or you can use issue detailed view to change any feld or transition issue beween statuses
How to change issuetype
If you accidently created a wrong issue type, you can simply change it by clicing issue type button next to the issue key
How to create a backog tab and hide issues in he backlog from the board
If you want to hide issues in the backog statuse from your board, use configure board tab.
You can add issues from backog to your board using backlog tab in the right side menu
How to sort issues by assignie direcly on the board
You can use quick flters and user icons on top of the board to easily sort issues
How to release version
You can release a version via the Kanban board. Click the Release menu above your board to see a list of unreleased versions. The list will only include versions that have been assigned to one or more of the issues in the ‘Done’ column on your board. Select a version to release, enter the details in the release dialog, and then select ‘Release’. Issues will disappear from the board once all their fix versions have been released.
